Just a thought.
What would happen if every body got together and spelled out every bad experience with customer service call and how if there was a boycott of the products because of bad customer service??? How about an uncaring companies that would not give you a strait answer when the product you had bought 2 months prior to contacting customer service due to a defect in the product??
Well I’m going to start with an experience that I had last year.I have given this a lot of thought and at first I did not want to rant about the shoddy treatment I got from Funai corporation. They are the makers of Magnavox products among other electronic products.
In August 2007 I bought a new VCR/DVD recorder.In October 2007 the unit broke down and would not record in the VCR or the DVD modes.I contacted Funai’s customer service and the run around started we ended up talking to several people each time we were told there was no record of us contacting them. Now we have the names of each and every one we talked to as well as their Id numbers.I also have several emails that I had sent to the company as well.then They told us to send a fax with all the important information,we did and we waited after a week we called and asked for a response to the fax we sent”we never received a fax from you” so we sent the fax again,again we waited a week and no response from Funai,again we were told that they have not received a fax.So we sent the damn fax again,by this time I was extremely pissed off.so I contacted the better business b.and also the Ohio state attorney generals office.
by this time the warranty of the ninety days was up so we called Walmart’s extended warranty people to get my unit fixed.they sent me a UPS ticket to put on the box that I was sending the combo unit in,took it to the UPS store and they shipped it to the company.three day after they received my VCR/DVD combo I had it returned to my house fixed.
Meanwhile Funai was still giving me the run around I told them that I had gotten my unit fixed and they will NEVER SEE AN OTHER DOLLAR OF MY MONEY!!I will look to see who is the manufacture of any electronic product closely if I see funai as the manufacturer,I will not buy that product. MAGNAVOX USED TO BE A RELIABLE PRODUCT,I HAD A MAGNAVOX T.V. THAT HAD LASTED 10 YEARS,So I bought the product that I trusted. Well my days of buying Magnavox products are over forever!
the awards that I have.
I have two awards that I have that mean a lot to me.The first one is the third place award that I earned in the Roscoe Villige Dulicmer Days contest in 1993.
The second award that I’m proud of it the one that I earned as a realestate sales person,at Realty One,the company that I started as a realtor.That award is their Brass award for the sales that I had.
then there are the cyber awards that I have. I love them all,and proud that I have them.

More on the Hammered Dulicmer
Today I’m going to sing the praises of three people that played a part of my learning the Hammered Dulicmer. The first two People had made video tapes that helped me.Mr.Dennis Lee of Texas Music and Videos who made learn the Hammered Dulicmer,who by the way has more and different Videos. Mr John McCutcheon who’s video is titled Hammered dulicmer taught by him. And thirdly I would like to Mention Ms Tina Bergmann who had given me a total of 22 lessions.That were taped as the lession was being given so that I could practise what i learned,unfortunaly the tapes were distroyed by accident.I had recorded over the lessions making some other tapes,Dumb me.
If there any mispelled words blame the spell check for it does not want to check my spelling for some strange reason.
Playing the dulicmer
For those that are curious.The dulicmer is played by holding tiny hammers in your hands.Some hammers have two sides a soft side and a hard side the soft side plays softer note and the hard side plays louder notes.think of playing the Hammered dulicmer as if you are playing a piano when you hit a key on the piano that causes a hammer to strike the wire inside the piano and plays a note.playing the dulicmer is just like that except you control the hammers and direct the hammers to the strings and thus playing the notes. I hope in my round about way I have aseh son light on how to play the dulicmer.
A good monday
well today has been good only a couple of seizures.Maybe tomarrow will be better and I won’t have one.
I’ve added a ribbon today,it is something I believe in.I may not agree with the war in Iraq.I do Believe in supporting our military Men and Women. That is why I added the ribbon.
Over at broken-skull.com is a new posting that I also believe in.His comments may ruffle a few feathers,but sometimes those feathers need to be ruffled.At least I believe they need ruffling,yes congress and the senate I’m talking about you.

Silly Sunday
this Sunday the weather is supposed to have off and on showers,the temp is a balmy 45 degrees.And this is during “winter”????Whats up with this?Oh yes the weather condition called La Nina is to blame.
I really cannot complain and I’m not complaining.case in point back in december 1971 while home on leave from the USAir force the weather was shirt sleave weather and you really did not need a coat on.I had just finished Tech school and was to report to my duty station on January 14th of 1972.That duty assignment was to the 2951 combat logistics support squadron,CLSS for short,located in Sacramento California. When I arrived there I was really looking forward to that assignment.By 1993 I was verry unhappy as an aircraft electrician,my supervisor did not like me and said at one point”too bad I can’t do what used to be done,just take you out back of the building and give you an a** whipping that you deserve.” This is because I was the square peg trying to fit into a round hole.The reason for this was I had just returned from my first TDY assignment(TDY standing for Tempory Duty Assignment)during that assignment I did my job to the best of my ability,while not working I had become a drunk,trying to make friends with my fellow servicemen.It is also the first time I had attempted to kill myself.For wich I am glad that that attempt failed,but also got me in hot water with my supervisor and hence the remark that I had quoted previously in this blog.Now that I got that out of the way maybe I’ll spill some “beans in a different blog.
a silly stat.
counting this one I only have to post an other 313 posts before december 20,2008 and I will have made 356 posting with in one year,not bad for a newbe.if I do say so.I may have even written 30 posts on this blog in thirty days if I counted right.and If not oh well.even if I skipped a day or two I still think that I may have written the thirty posts in 30 days if you count multiple posts in one day.
Paying homage to one of my late freinds.
I just remembered that I left a comment on a site called the hourseshoeinghousewife.her nick name is mikey.wich brings me to why I’m writeing this.I used to have a supervison at the sherriff’s department where I was a corrections officer.we would start out our day the same way.He would come into the control room and ask”Hey Mikey how are ya?” I would answer hey Louie fine and dandy and your self? He suffered a heart attack and died on the way to the hospital,it was not fun watching my supervisor and friend pass away.He was peonounced DOA at the hospital But I knew he was gone even before they took him to the sallyport for transportation to the hospital.
For those that do not know what a sallyport is,here is a discription.the sally part is designes to keep the jail secure at all times but still allow vehicles enter and exit.I wish there was a way to display a diragram of what I’m talking about.but here is the best that I can do. when a car or van that needs to come into the jail complex arrives one ovehead door is opened car comes in door is closed than the second door is opened,then the car is in the parking space the prosoneer(s) are let out ot the car or van put in a holding cell than taken to the booking desk.when the car is ready to leave door #3isopened the car drives into that space door #3 is closed that door#4 is opens the car leaves and goes into the street as door #4 is closed.cars and vans enter the sallyport from the left tan departs on the right side. the length between doors #1 and #2 is a little longer that a van.the parking area can handle 8 cars or vans at a time,then rhe space between doors #3 and#4 are the same lenth.Darn the spell check will not work now I’ll really look like a bad speller.

well folks I have aluded to commonties.com,in the past.They have changed the format on what can and cannot be submitted they had even promised that the archives could be accessable,they lied when you go to the archives you donot get to see the archives.When you click on an archive subject (such as 9/11 or any other subject)instead of getting that subject you go right back to the home page that has the current stuff and that really sucks.I had fired off an email to the common ties staff telling them how disapointed I was and that I will not be visiting that site again.I’ll just stick to my own blogs and the rest of my blog world friends.
