The more you hear we have to change Washington the more it sounds like it will be business as usual.
Here is why in my opion.
1)Some of the candidates are courting the different religions to get elected
2)some of the candidates are saying that they will change the way things are done.Ha! There were changes made that said that no politician is to go to sit down dinners held by the lobbists,the lobbyists than got ride of the tables you stand up and eat.So therefore each person takes a little right? Wrong they are allowed to go back for as many times as they want.
3) it alway takes a majority to pass laws,so therefore both parties must compromise.This is a possible senerio”you want my vote on this peice of legislation?than you will allow me to inset something of mine into yours”,usually a pet project that will benifit their people back home.
4)the lobbyists for say the drug companies want to have have their cake and eat it to,want people stopped from going to Canada to buy their perscription there because the costs are less.Well we cant have that it will drive down their profits!!!The drug companies clame that the drugs are inferior in other countries,HA!they manufacter the drugs that are shipped to say Canada and the drugs that are sold in the good USA only the usa ones cost more.Why is that well you can thank the food and drug administraion for that one as well as our legislative branch of government.
5) most of these candidates are for the most part career candidates move from one elected position to a different one. That is why term limits are a joke,I’ll serve my term limit at the elected position the run for a different one when my term is up.What a Joke,and it is on the lower middle class and the “poor” I put poor in parencities because if you are a single income family you donot have the money to but thing that a duel income household can.
I have a lot more reasons not to trust these candidates than listed here.

The other day a piolot ended up crashing it Lake Erie after takeoff from Burke lakefront into water that currently has a temp of 37 degrees,and it was at night that he took off so they could not find the plane until the next day,buy than it became a recovery operation instead of a rescue one.
that is how my life feels like a plane crash that keeps happening,especially with haveing seizures.
The only thing that is good in my life is the fact that I have been sober since 12/17/1990. I will be turning 56 on 01/22/08 and most of all my 28th wedding anaversary will be on 03/01/08

I just learned how to add someone to the blog roll.I guess the saying you can’t teach an old dog new tricks is not totally true. I just did learn one.

Hellow Group(this is a homage to a person called ghoulardi a late night carater who hosted movies in the 60’s)every day that I wake-up is a blessing,especially after what I went through in the seventies after I got out of the USAF,I got sick with what I thought was a bad cold and i was congested,turns out I was a lot sicker that I thought.I had fluid on the heart,this is a infection that affects the sac around the heart,it fills with fluid and has to be removed and treated with anti-biotics or the person may die.I almost did.I was given a 20/80 chance of survival the 20 being for me.It was one of the most scariest times of my life,here I was 23 years old and wondering if I would see 24.after a month and a half stay in the hospital,I was able to leave but had to have frequent check ups and was not allowed to work full time I was told no more that 20 hours a week.The good side was that I survived,My marriage at the time did not.By 1978 I was divorced and liveing alone in Sacramento Ca.So I decided to move back to Cleveland Ohio.I’m Glad that I did for in sept of 1979 I meet Celestine.The way I meet here was through a raod dispatcher for the Local AAA club.”Mike I know a great person that you need to meet”At first I was a little aprehensive but nothing ventured nothing gained,so I meet Celestine in Sept of’79.By March of 1980 we got married,and have been since.

I would like to add a website www.msichicago.org the reason is that there is an attraction there that I find amazing,for a semi history buff. The U-505 is a German submarine that was captured by the Navy during World War 2. This is the last warship that was captured on the “high seas” by a US Navy ship. So those who are interested in this can just go and check out the site,Oh by the way there is a lot more to see online at the museum.
