This photo from the 1880s shows boats on the Columbus Feeder Canal right before its end at the Scioto River near W. Main Street.
AND YES you can still find Canal boats in Operation in OHIO!!

How cool that you and Celestine went on that boat trip.
15andmeowing it was some years ago it was Mother’s and Celestine did not want to pay for two rides the person at the ticklet window asked if we had any pets we said yes so she said that Celestine was momma to furbabies and she got to ride for free.
