FYI
I had to rekill the computer,it was still acting up. I do have it working now I am in the process of putting everything back in that I had in it prior to the 2 kills that I had to do. for the second kill I remembered to turn off the system restore monitoring that way what ever was lurking on the C drive was wiped this time.when i have problems I must remember to shut off the system restore before using the restore discs.the system restore come back on line when the discs are used.

Sandee,I can only hope so. but I suspect that there are those out there lurking in cyberspace that will get me again. sometimes I even think that microsoft creates crap the get people to just give up and by a new computer.
