Bing, for me,when things get too much that is not an option. My Dad said that in his case One was too many and a Vat was not enough.Mari,I am glad that it is here!
Congratulaltions AA on 75 years of helping folks stay sober. AA is a life saver. The hardest part is for the alcholic to realize he needs help and to seek help. Happy weekend, Mike.
75 years ~ that's old for an alcoholic!… that's old. I've only been to AA twice. Though I know NA came from AA I found the atmosphere quite different. Also NA are more ritualized with their readings etc. There were no readings at the AA meet I went to.I've always been meaning to get a copy of AA's Basic Text. I've had the NA one so long, I didn't even realize a new edition has come out with loads more personal accounts (that's my favourite bit of the book).75 years is a lot of \”just for todays\”!
Welcome to my blog. I post things that I feel must be said. I will post Prayer Requests when I find them. I will try to do my best to be a good blogger and will try to not step on too many toes. May God bless all that visit with me. THE BLOG IS THE SAME ONLY THE NAME WAS CHANGED, TO PROTECT THE SILLINESS! (With a Nod To Dragnet)
sometimes when things get too heavy for me, i turn to alcohol. =(
Happy Birthday to AA! What a great orginazation!
