I hope that every one keeps these officers and their departmant and all the families in their prayers.
Authorities said a man pulled over for a traffic stop shot and killed three police officers in Oakland, Calif., on Saturday. Police reversed an earlier announcement that a fourth officer died Sunday, but said that officer, John Hege, 41, was brain dead. The officers who were shot are Sgt. Mark Dunakin, 40, Hege, Sgt. Daniel Sakai, 35, and Sgt. Ervin Romans, 43.
How tragic, yes I will definitely be in prayer for them and their families.
Deb,thank you.As a retired Corrections Officer,it pains me when a fellow law enforcement person goes down in the line of duty.
Let us for the death of the police to pray, to pray for their families. Hope to seize the murderer as soon as possible so that their souls can rest in peace. Amen. What is Really Healthy-Health BlogHumor & Fun World-Funny Blog

Mike,You show the beautiful person you are carrying this much for others.Love,Ana
Oakland is a cesspool. What a shame. There was an article in the paper about this incident this morning. One of the residents that could have told the cops where this parolee was wouldn\’t because snitches are just as bad as murderers. What the heck? That\’s what they said. That\’s the mood in Oakland. A cesspool I tell you.My other issues is what happened with the swat team? These are generally very highly trained units. That is a puzzle to hubby and I. I\’ve never seen swat teams that make themselves sitting ducks. As for the bad guy? He went directly to hell. At least he\’s not sitting in jail after what he did. He\’s exactly where he belongs. Sorry I\’m being to callous about this, but that\’s just how I feel.I\’ve had them and their family and friends in my prayers since finding out about this incident. We both know how hard this is on everyone concerned. The law enforcement community is suffering very much over this incident. And they will for a very long time.Have a terrific day Mike. Big hug. 🙂
Ana,I am just that way.years ago if I showed this side of me I would be called weird and worse.
Sandee,I agree with you 100% I have thought of Oakland as an unsavory place when I lived in Sacramento.
