A Sad Thought
Today was the Day in 2020 that Celestine was taken to the Seven Hills Rehab Center on Rockside road for her first rehab stint. A week later she was sent back to MetroHealth E/R because of her diabetes was out of control. she would spend 2 weeks in the Hospital before being sent to Broadview MultiCare for rehab. and a week and a half later she would be back at MetroHealth again. This time she would be told that she was terminally Ill. and on OCTOBER 4 she would be transferred to Hospice of western reserve the Westlake campus. she remained there until she slipped into a coma on October 15 th she passed away in the early morning hours of October 16 2020. and that was the worst day of my life.

The bluebell has many names, but those who know it as the ‘fairy flower’ may be the best prepared to withstand its strong, sweetly scented allure. In British folklore , the ‘bluebell woods,’ like this bluebell-carpeted hillside in Dorset , England, is the realm of the fairies. For just a few weeks every spring, these enchanting flowers bloom. According to the legend, a blooming bluebell carpet is a mystical place with a hint of menace. The tales hold that fairies hang their spells on the flowers to dry, and disturbing them would unleash the magic.In earlier times, children were warned that picking bluebells would cause them to be spirited away. The truth of the matter is that bluebells are considered toxic. Ancient folktales about fairies were a good way to make sure curious humans avoided handling them—but enjoying the sight of their beauty is a perfectly safe form of enchantment.

Today is a better day.God woke me up in a good mood. One of my health care providers was here. and when I mentioned i have some stuff that could be used by someone who need kitchen stuff sh said I know a shaelter for battered women that could use donations and it just so happend that I had a box ready to go so she took that with her when she left.Life is Good.
A SUNDAY THOUGHT/REFLECTION
THREE YEARS AGO TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY MY BELOVED CELESTINE WAS EVER HERE WITH ME IN OUR CONDO. IT STARTED THE DECLINE IN HEALTH AS SHE WAS SUFFERING THE EARLY STAGES OF KIDNEY FAILURE THAT WOULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 25, 2020. SHE WAS PLACED IN THE CARE OF HOSPICE WHILE STILL AT METRO HEALTH HOSPITAL.
OCTOBER 4, 2020 SHE WAS TRANSFERRED FROM METRO HEALTH TO THE HOSPICE OF WESTERN RESERVE WESTLAKE CAMPUS WHERE ON THE 15TH SHE TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE AND ON THE 16TH SOMETIME BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND ONE THIRTY AM SHE DIED.
