Being happy is a good thing.

Well folks here I am waiting on an electrician to come out and figure out what I did wrong. Saturday one of the kitchen ground fault outlets failed I replaced it and still it is not working, so since I did that on the weekend I chose not to call an electrician out until today to avoid “the emergency repair” charge. I don’t have the proper diagnostic tools to fix what was a simple job (for a Former USAF trained Aircraft Electrician) to fix became another project for an expert to fix.

  1. I’m caffeinated. We both love our coffee.

Sometimes it’s better to have the pros fix stuff.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, my friend. Scritches to Screwball. ♥

    • Sandee,it only took him a total of 15 minutes to fix the problem the newer GFI’s are oposite of the old ones.I did not know that and thats why it was an easy fix.123 it was done. and he did not even need to power turned off. Needless to say I now have an electrical guy that I can recomend to others.

    • 15andmeowing I was an Aircraft electrician when I was in the USAF I should have tried to get into an electrician apprentiship program when I got out.

  2. It’s hard to pretend it’s not Monday when you have to get to work.

Anyway, I hope the electrician got you fixed up, if you couldn’t do it I’ll bet there’s more going on behind the scenes than the one outlet.

    • messymimi’s meanderings,I’m retired so monday is just another day.I can sleep in if I want to. the electricial problem is HISTORY! the problen was an easy fix,I told the guy what I did and he said the new GFI’s are revere of the old ones something I did not know.the outlet was fixed 123.
