What better way to start the week than with a smile.

Sorry I have bee A.W.O.L. but for the past month things have been interesting. Sunday September the third I was feeling off and used my life alert and by the time EMS got here I had passed out.  The EMS guy said it took over 20 seconds to get you to wake up. You are going to the MetroHeath main campus E/R. That’s when it got interesting and I was told that they were admitting me for observation. Monday the 4th I got an Echocardigram it showed that my Aortic heart valve was bad and I needed a new one but first I had to get blood work done and a C.T. scan of my chest, abdomen and pelvis area. Next up was a Heart Catheterization that showed how bad the Aortic Heart Valve was working.  Then I had a consultation where the procedure was to be done. That was Called TAVR it is a less invasive procedure versus open heart surgery. I was supposed to have it done the 14th Of October but had to be delayed a week until Tuesday the 21st. On Sunday the 20th I did not feel right and used my Life Alert button again and again I passed out. My next Door neighbor is on my emergency call list and she had keys for the front door. She let herself in but I was out so I did not hear her come in and the next thing I know was when and the EMS guys were talking and she said I had been out at least three minutes. Again I was taken to MetroHeath main campus E/R.(Metro has E/R’s in different locations). The Main Campus is the closest to me. This time I was told that I was being admitted for observation until they could get the surgery done.

So I have been taking it easy since the surgery. I am only allowed to lift nothing more than 10 LBS and that’s a Gallon of Milk by the way.
