Monday’s Music Moves Me.

Let’s introduce the Music Moves me bloggers: We blog about music each Sunday or Monday and if you have music to share with us, you are most welcome to join! (Music Posts Only-meaning at least one music video, please! Otherwise, your post may be removed, or may be labeled “No Music”.) Our head host is Xmas Dolly, and our co-hosts are Cathy from Curious as a Cathy, joined by the knowledgeable Stacy of Stacy Uncorked and, last but not least, ME,Rambling with the AM.
Sometimes we have themes (not mandatory!) and sometimes we can choose whatever music we want to feature – as long as you have at least music video posted, it’s all good.
Let’s give Mary from Jingle Jangle Jungle a round of applauds. 👏 She volunteered to be this month’s guest co-hostess. The final theme for February, Mary is giving you two choices. The first one is to spell pistachio using Song Titles (or Artists/Bands if you prefer) since it’s National Pistachio Day or go with number two to build your picks with “leap” or “jump” song titles since it’s a leap year.

Van Halen – Jump

The Rolling Stones – Jumpin’ Jack Flash

Cab Calloway & Nicholas Brothers – Jumpin’ Jive

  1. I think The Nicholas Brothers are on par with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly. Astaire gave grace and elegance, Kelly gave athleticism and these 2 gave exuberance plus athleticism. I am amazed they could give children with all these splits plus the strength to pull themselves up…Amazing!! Live your other songs but this one I shall always love

  2. Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers were absolutely amazing, awesome, and a dozen other adjectives. The other two songs are songs from my teenage years and adulthood but I would give first place, by a mile, to Cab and the Nicholas Brothers. Alana ramblinwitham

    • Alana Mautone,I know I could sit and watch them and Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly dance for hours on end.

  3. Excellent selections, Mike! Thanks for joining us on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week!
