Veterans Day or Remembrance Day and or Armistice Day

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them. The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11am on 11 November 1918. Armistice is Latin for to stand (still) arms.
It Called Veterans Day in the United States it is also know as Armistice day or Rememberance Day in the Commonwealth of Nations

  1. Thank you for your service. I also thank my father (the person I refer to as “Grandpa” on my blog because he’s my children’s grandfather) and my Little Girl. Both were in the Army.
