One of my favorite movies is Blazing Saddles, and one of the best scenes comes at the end, when Bart leaves Rock Ridge…

Sometimes, the best destination for a trip is “nowhere special.”
MaryEllen my First Wife did trips like that a few times in California.
Celestine My Beloved Late Second Wife of 40 Years have done that a few times both in Ohio and Kentucky and Pennsylvania
Have you have a destination, but are in no hurry to get there. You might like that better.
Have you ever done this? If so, how did it work out? If not, do you think you might someday? Let me know in the Comments section.
Oh yes, I’m an old movie buff, and I love cowboy movies too. I found a channel since I’ve been home & am now disabled, and it has Gunsmoke (luv it), Wagon Train, Cheyenne, and many others old movies too! Luv the channel & so glad we found it. They also play old movies too!!! I love it! Do you? I can get you the channel if you like. Let me know and I’ll make sure to write it down! Hugs and have a great day my friend. Don’t forget to stop by once in a while my friend! Take care, and may the Lord bless you and keep you happy & keep us friends for as long as you want! HUGS & HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Marie aka NaNee! sound good to me.
I very much want to take such a trip, with a destination in mind, but not set agenda for getting there. It will have to be after i retire, until then either no trips or limited vacations so i do have to be on a schedule to get there and back.
