Thankful Thursday and Throwback Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian of Brian’s Home. He wants us to post what we’re thankful for.
I think it’s a good thing to do each week. Focus on the positive things in our lives.
Make sure you link up to the Blog Hop at Brian’s Home and get the code to put on your blog. Then visit all the participants.
this brings me back to when there was a USO in Sacramento Ca. friday nights and dancing with a pretty young lady who would become the First Mrs Michael J.Golch.
Nights In White Satin
and of course I would be remiss if I did not show my mode of transportation to and from the USO and the McClellan AFB

  1. Sweet memories indeed, Mike. You made me smile.

    Love the bike.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, my friend. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Screwball. 🙂 ♥

    • Sandee, thank you I loved it as well but that was the first ting to go when Mary and I got married. The nice thing is we are friends again, and when she hears Nights is White satin it makes her think of me and she smiles.💋 💋 💋 💋 🌹 🌹 🌹🌹

  2. Great music! DH grew up riding dirt bikes and small motorcycles. It was something I was never quite fond of but I do get the appeal. I hope you’re doing well, my friend. Take care and Gd bless!

    • Cathy kennedy I am doing OK and that is a great thing. I never got into dirt bike riding. But I do miss that street bike.💋 💋 💋 💋 🌹 🌹 🌹🌹

  3. My best friend in high school adored that song.

Such sweet memories, i love riding a bike but i haven’t in years. Other drivers make it so dangerous but like you, i have the memories.

  4. messymimi’s meanderings,I know I guess that’s why the modern bikes are so loud to make people know they are there. But Give me a car or a van that has space to keep me safe.💋 💋 💋 💋 🌹 🌹 🌹🌹
