AWWW Monday and a sad anniversary

Since this weekend marked 1 year since my Celestine went home, I did a runaway weekend, I drove from Cleveland to Dayton Ohio to see the Air Force Museum. Celestine and I did go there in 1991 but all we could see was the than Annex we could not go on base to see the rest of the exhibit because the base was closed due to Desert Storm and we said someday we would come back to see the rest. The Museum has since rebuilt and moved all the exhibits off of Wright-Patterson AFB.
I got to see the whole museum in 2 days, I got there Friday at 2:15 pm and visited the World War 1 and 2 sections on Friday. I stayed at a Red Roof Inn over night both Friday and Saturday than on Saturday I got there when the doors opened and finished all of the museum. I than spent the night at the Red Roof Inn and in the morning checked out, then proceeded to go to the in person A.A. Meeting in Monroe MI. After the meeting I drove back to Cleveland and visited my Celestine before coming home.

I know you had a good time in a bittersweet sort of way. I’m guessing Celestine was there with you. I’m sure of it.

Sandee,It was an enjoyable trip,it is totally different than it was back in 1991 when Celestine and Went.I know she was with me,I could feel het poining stuff out to me.

messymimi’s meandering it was but had I stayed home that would not have turned out so well,I would have thrown away my soberiety I just know that for a fact.

thanks everyone it was a great weekend and I stayed sober,had i stayed home I know I would have gotten drunk.I just Know it.
