I remember the Little Eva version. At the end of term school party we were all dancing the Locomotion. The year before it was probably the twist!
That is a fascinating old photo. I would love to go back in time to visit. Just for the day though!
We love streetcars in NOLA, too. They are much better than busses as far as i’m concerned.
Little Eva is my sentimental favorite.
