Well I pulled the Dulcimer from out behind my Love seat.

as the title says,I got my stand tightend up the screws in the hinges on the stand. then picked up that heavy (almost 30 lbs) Hammered Dulcimer and put it on the stand. It needs retuning,I can’t find the tuner I had,it may have gotten tossed out by accident.I really need to review my lession videos that I have. than maybe I can Play bvetter than this bad attempt,So Can Someone give me an “A” for Effort??

  1. I’m happy you’re playing your Dulcimer again, Mike. It’s a good thing. Well done.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. 🙂

    • it will sound even better when i get it all tuned up and relearn the tunes I used to know and can play then better that I just did today!

  3. Mike,

It’s good you’re back to playing your Dulcimer. I love the sound it makes! We got our daughter a small version when she was quite young. It’s rather nice, too. Currently, it’s in a closet and difficult to get to but one day I’m gonna have to get that out and play with it. 🙂

    • Cathy, good sometimes I WOULD JUST HAMMER ON THE STRINGHS TO BLOW OFF STEAM,IT DID NOT MATTER IF I WAS NOT PLAYING A TUNE IT DID GET RIDE OF SOME OF THE STUFF THAT WAS BUILDING UP.

  4. That’s “E” for effort my friend. Not to worry because I look forward to the next recitel if you don’t mind! I want to say I knew you when. I wish I could play such a fantastic instrument, and what you did my friend is amazing!!! I cannot wait for your next recital to say the least. As I said to you once before I saw this instrument at a fair I went to when I first came out here and there were many of them being played. It was awesome and I was in awe!!! Now my friend when I feel down I play my piano and in so many words I listen to the way I feel. Take that for what it’s worth. It will help you… I promise you! You’re in my prayers my friend, and let the Lord hear how you feel… He shall help, I promise you! God speed… and have a good weekend. Sending a great big HUG from me and play one for ME SAM!!! 🙂

  5. XmasDolly,Thanks I almost have half of Golden Slippers relearned soon, and when i can get at least one more tune I’ll record both of them
