  1. Mike,I remember the Jerry Lewis Telethon weekend. That was actually kind of fun to watch when I was a kid. I hope you had a good Labor Day. Ours was spent quietly at home. It was dry and hot but we were indoors so that didn't bother us. Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor, my friend.

  2. So, thank you for the link – the telethon is returning! (In October, and virtual, I see). many memories of it – I did a blog post on it several years ago; maybe I should rerun it one day. Your \”Labor Day\” song was new but I actually remember \”Solidarity Forever\”. My Dad was a disabled WWII (mechanic who suffered a head injury repairing a jeep) vet whose job was saved at least once by his union.
