  1. …I love history too, in the late '60s I lived in Fairview Park and worked in Rocky River!

  2. I grew up in Chicago, and that's the first I ever heard of the Chicago Taxicab Wars, and never knew that Hertz's origin was Chicago. Very educational!

  3. John, Holton.I'm glad that I choose that one! Like Dwyne Pride says on NCIS New Orleans you \”learned Things\” :):D:-h d-) y-)

  4. WOW, Let's try this again! I just loved your presentation for today! How appropriate as far as I'm concerned and I loved it! Way ta go my friend, and OMG I think I might have learned something about my hometown… CHICAGO, CHICAGO, that toddling town… or whatever that word is! hahaha FABULOUS – I LOVED IT! WOO HOO! GREAT JOB MY FRIEND!

  5. XmasDolly,Thanks,since it was a freebie week and you know I march to a different drummer so I ran with these!! 🙂 :):D :X :-* :-f :-h d-) y-)

  6. Mike,Excellent spin for freebie week! These pieces of history are great lessons to refresh or teach oneself with our nation's Independence Day fast approaching. Let's pray for our country. She's in a mess with the left out to destroy her. God bless America! Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor, my friend!

  7. Cathy kennedy,Thanks I watch a lot of the history guys videos,so sme ended up here this week. :):D:X:-*:-f :-h d-) y-)

  8. My first exposures to The History Guy. It won't be the last. He is excellent! I was glued to the story of the first Medal of Honor – I was originally a history major in college before I switched majors, and, needless to say – never knew this.

  9. I love history, so these were a welcome treat, Mike! Hope you had a Happy 4th, and are having a great weekend (and that your computer troubles are behind you…) 🙂
