…I love history too, in the late '60s I lived in Fairview Park and worked in Rocky River!
I grew up in Chicago, and that's the first I ever heard of the Chicago Taxicab Wars, and never knew that Hertz's origin was Chicago. Very educational!

Mike,Excellent spin for freebie week! These pieces of history are great lessons to refresh or teach oneself with our nation's Independence Day fast approaching. Let's pray for our country. She's in a mess with the left out to destroy her. God bless America! Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor, my friend!

My first exposures to The History Guy. It won't be the last. He is excellent! I was glued to the story of the first Medal of Honor – I was originally a history major in college before I switched majors, and, needless to say – never knew this.
Alana,I'm glad I introduced him to you!:):D:X:-*:-f:-hd-)y-)
