  1. Great job my friend. You've totally rocked the house with some great classics! I can remember hearing Herb Albert on the radio on my way to work & it really got me in a good mood and woke me up for sure. I haven't heard it in such a long time. Thank you. Sukayaki, for some reason I really like that song. The melody is just too… too happy I think, but the first one is No. 1 in my book. The melody and the voice.. just great. I never knew the Beatles redid A Taste of Honey! Are there some kind of words in the background? I can barely hear them. Anyway, no one can beat Herb Albert!! You did a great job & rocked the house! Have a great day. Stay healthy and safe my friend and don't forget your mask when you go out.

  2. Mike,Did John inspired your selections? 🙂 I never knew that the popular Herbe Albert instrumental had a lyrical version recorded a few years prior. I really like Lenny Welch's version. If this was a BoTB I might have to go with Welch. I think it's cool how your song feature prompted you to use the 70s all-girl group, Taste of Honey. Great post and mewsic, my friend. Have a boogietastic week and stay well!

  3. Johbn Holton,Thanks.I like Both Versions of \”Sukiyaki\” so I used both of them.Mrs Mike Like the english version a little better.:):D:-h d-)

  4. XmasDolly,Thank you I had both of these tunes in my head since last Friday so I ren with them!! :):D:X:-f:-h d-)

  5. Cathy Kennedy,No he did not I had the Idea for these songs since Friday, someone put both of them in my head groups I belong to on Face Book! :):D:X:-*:-f:-h d-)

  6. I never knew A Taste of Honey was originally a song from 1962. Strangely, I was not familiar with the Beatles cover, either. For me, the song will always be the Herb Albert/Tijuana Brass instrumental cover. (Nor was I familiar with the Taste of Honey cover of Sukiyaki).

  7. Alana,The Beatles version did not chart well I think it was not one the radio station's playlist as I remember.Mrs Mike and I like the Cover version just because it's in english, however i do like the original as well.:):D:X:-*:-f:-h d-0
