Very nice tribute. People have the wrong meaning about Memorial Day. Being an ex-squid it makes me mad. The heroes are the ones that never came home.

CathyKennedy,I was Happy and Proud to put my uniform on,especially since I wanted to serve as my Dad did in WW 2. To me everyday is Armed Forces Day,Memoriald Day and Veterans day. 🙂 :_* :X :-f :-h d-)
Beautiful Memorial Day tribute Mike! It's very sobering and makes me cry when I think of all the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedoms and our country. Thanks for giving us the wonderful opportunity to take a few moments to step away from the picnics and the retail holiday sales to really honor those who served us so well.
