Oh my goodness, what great choices. I always remember Blue Velvet as the first dance I ever danced with a boy at my first boy & girl party. One of the reasons was because this chubby red headed boy that asked me to dance sang in my ear off key, but he sang Blue Sequins cuz my dress had a top of blue sequins… talk about corny!!! bwahahahaha Have a fun week my friend and you have wonderful choices here. GREAT JOB! BIG HUGS I LOVE COLOR OF THE WIND!
I love Bobby Vinton..Blue Velvet..I haven't heard that song in so long…and Roses Are Red is great. I've been trying to figure out how to add Music Monday along with Sandee's Awww… Monday's, and I think you just showed me how. Plus, I copied your Music Monday kitty cat with earphones. Can I put it on my sidebar? In any event, great post and Happy Monday!
Here's a blast from the past. My husband has been reading a historical book about Native Americans. We really were jerks to them and it didn't stop after Pocahantas. There was a lot of nasty done in the 1920s, too.
Mike,How funny, one of my blog buds reminded me of Bobby Vinton's two biggest hits, \”Blue on Blue\” and \”Blue Velvet\”. Vinton did an entire album of blue song names in 1963. \”Colors of the Wind\” is a pretty song. Thanks for sharing the dance floor with the 4M gang, my friend. Have a colorific week. 🙂
Hi Mike,Wow, Bobby Vinton! I haven't thought of Bobby Vinton in AGES!!! I .love his \”Blue Velvet\”.And \”Black Velvet\” is definitely one of my favorite songs. I could play that one over and over…The Disney song was a nice add…Have a great weekend. Fun post!Michele at Angels Bark
Bobby Vinton (sigh…) Blue Velvet is such a beautiful song (as is Roses are Red). Some of the songs of that era sound so dated – this will never be dated, so beautiful. Sigh again! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
Welcome to my blog. I post things that I feel must be said. I will post Prayer Requests when I find them. I will try to do my best to be a good blogger and will try to not step on too many toes. May God bless all that visit with me. THE BLOG IS THE SAME ONLY THE NAME WAS CHANGED, TO PROTECT THE SILLINESS! (With a Nod To Dragnet)
