It is hard to believe that it has been a year already. Celestine gave me a “Re-Birthday card” today to show me how grateful she is that I survived my last suicide attempt. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID AS WELL. THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS WERE TOUCH AND GO AS TO HOW MUCH DAMAGE I DID TO MYSELF from the combination of medications that I took. One was for my seizures and one was the medication I was on as a mood stabilizer. When I came to at the hospital, I could not even talk right. I did not have control over my urine and needed a catheter put in. I was in the cardiac care unit because my heart was unstable. They kept pumping medication into me to help stabilize me.
