  1. It appears that the 2 hardest words to say to a military veteran is \”Thank you!\”I hope enough people see things like this so when they see a person in uniform, the least they can do is say thank you. Here is a true story that warms my heart. I was outside a popular restaurant on Nov. 10th. He was getting out of a car with people that I assumed was his family. I yelled, \”Happy Birthday Marine.\” He looked at me with a quizzical look and said \”It's not my….\” He smiled, snapped to attention said, \”Thank you sir. Hoo rah!\”, did a proper about face and joined his family. Just my opinion but it looked like he was walking a little taller than before. If I haven't said it before, \”Thank you Mike!\”Have a great weekend!Steve

  5. mike…I just got home a little while ago from attending my 2nd Rolling Thunder! It is such a huge honor to be escorted as a Blue Star Mother VIP. To see the streets of our Nation's Capitol lined with people thanking the Vets and thanking the Moms…truly is a good moment!Great post!
