The Way Up Is Down
-Matthew 23:12
It may seem backwards, but Jesus tells us the way for us to be exalted is to humble ourselves, or in other words, the way up is down. This principle is restated in 1 Peter 5:6: Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
