I am officially 20 years sober!
no I do not have my coin yet,I found this image online and decided to use it for this posting.
I now have my coin.Celestine picked it up at a soberity shop along with a 20th anaversary card. The Great thing is that she has not taken a drink in 20 years as well.
Mike, many congratulations. That is awesome. And you did it one day at a time.

Sandee, yes it does.we both decided long time ago to be supportive of each other. Because of her Diabetes I made change in the stuff I consume as well.
TWENTY YEARS–GOOD JOB, GOD!!!Mike, this is a statistic: For every Recovering alcoholic who reaches 20 years of continuous sobriety, (18,000 EIGHTEEN THOUSAND!) have entered the rooms and left to drink some more. Steveroni,In the 70's and 80's I was in and out of the AA rooms so many times it was not funny.I am greatful to God and the support that I recieve that I have made it to 20 years.The Painted Veil,Jackie I am glad that you are feeling better today.It is thanks to the Grace of God that we have our soberiety.
