Friday until Yesterday (Tuesday)
Friday June 28 started out as any other day,I woke up at 8 am (Eastern Time)got dressed than I came downstairs grabbed breakfast,that tried to turn on my Iphone XR and it would not turn on took it to an APPLE store.They ran a dianostic test and said the battery is bad,and since the phone was 4.5 years old it was not worth the cost of replaceing the battery the phone was too old. than charge me a fee of $80 for the dianostic tests.said that I can get a new Iphone 16E for a $1,000 ,I said no.called Consumer Cellular (my cell carrier) got the same phone for $600 I financed the phone.so meet the new guy! Got him yeaterday!

I’m glad you have a new, working phone! I always tell them it is worth the cost of repair since they won’t sell me a new one for that price and they think I’m crazy, but it’s true, at least for us.
messymimi’s meanderings the phone is 4and a half years old it has at best 6 more months of use si it was not worth the cost of going to apple and paying to be told the phone ain’t worth the cost and labor for the old phone.
